Husband Complains about Wife’s Rudeness

Question Assalamu Aleykum. I got married at the age of 25, while my wife was 18. After one year of marriage, we had a son, and he is 2 years old now. At first, we were happy, but after some months, I started to abuse her and beat her. After that, I realized (my mistake) and started being friendly with her. After a year, I moved to another city and brought my family here after another year. My wife had some problems with my parents. My father is an angry man. He sometimes abuses my wife, and she started arguing with him. As I was away for a year, I used to calm her by calling her. Now, after m...... More

The spread of Islam in the Balkans – I

How the Islamic civilization emerged in the Balkan Peninsula is one of the most complex problems and requires multi-dimensional research. Unfortunately, many historic facts concerning Islam and the Balkan Peninsula have been "forgotten," or even distorted. This has been the result of centuries of pressure from the Serb and European historians and their political establishments. The two...... More

Promoting goods through lying and deceiving

Question I am starting a venture into online business, primarily affiliate marketing. The way the business is done is by advertising products using text-generated ads like Adwords. Can I use a pseudonym (not real name) when I promote these products yet promote them strictly according to the product's real standards/quality as NOT to deceive the customer?. Plus there is a valid money back guarantee on most of the products. Is it permissible to create a 'story' of how I 'use' the products in such and such way?; even after all the product's great benefits and risk free solution?(money back guar...... More

Roughness Leads to Disunity

Roughness is a dispraised attribute that implies bad manners. It causes disunity and estrangement among people and severs that which Allah The Almighty ordered to be maintained. Moreover, it has destroyed many households and separated many families. Many people who may love each other have nonetheless been afflicted with roughness and alienation due to harsh tempers, ill treatment and a lack of ge...... More
